Can you imagine embracing mental fitness workouts as part of our daily exercise?

 Dr. Donnie’s Answer:

I’ve been a little off my morning routine; however, it still exists and after writing this newsletter, I’m confident it will grow in frequency.

After I pour our cups of coffee, I sit down and do the following:

  1. I spend three minutes reflecting on what I’m grateful for regarding the previous day and upcoming day.
  2. I spend three minutes in prayer.
  3. I think about the three most important things I want to accomplish that day.

After completing the above, I read scripture and several pages in a self-help book.

That’s my morning routine.  My most effective, happy, and peaceful days are when I begin each day completing all the above.
