āOur inner voice, that chatter that goes on in our mind consists of positive and negative thoughtsā¦aka Sunshine and thunderstorms.
Positive thoughts include words of affirmation such as, Iām creative, Iām capable, Iām successful, Iām confident, Iām getting better each day, Iām blessed, Iām a good spouse, Iām a good parent; while negative thoughts are: I canāt, Iām not good enough, Iāll never get a breakā¦you get the point.ā

āManaging your inner chatter is about building peace in your mind. A scripture writing states, Today the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad. Being glad is all about having a peaceful mind. He doesnāt say, letās think about how the day could go wrong and worry about it.
If you find yourself in the midst of a thunderstorm of negative thoughts, mindfully speak to yourself a few blessings of gratitude such as, Iām grateful for my family and friends, Iām grateful I get to work, Iām grateful for this sunny day; once you do, you will begin to see the rainbow through the storm.ā

āOur thoughts manifest into our reality. We become what we think. If you want more positive thoughts, then practice multiple times per day speaking thoughts of affirmation and gratitude to your inner voice.
āWe hold the power to manage our thoughts by unleashing words of affirmation and gratitude. This process becomes easier through repetition as we strengthen our thought control muscles.ā
